I'm in the middle of organizing my polishes and as I was emptying a box, I decided to wear this rosey little number. From the Spring 2016 Botanical Awakenings collection, this is Rose-y Cheeks, a peachy pink with a pearl purple shimmer running through it.
I used a base of Duri Rejuvacote, 3 coats of polish and finished with Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That top coat. The formula was nice but just a little thin so I felt I definitely needed 3 coats and after photographing, I felt like another coat may have completely covered my VNL.
The pearl shimmer isn't very visible but does give this polish a little more depth. I was afraid it was going to show all the brush strokes but they seemed to lay smooth after top coat. I feel like this would be a great color for a little girl to wear to a princess party. I may also be saying that because we have a Princess Day at my work library tomorrow and this would work so well with a pretty dress heh. I also love how elegant this polish makes me feel with the new nail shape.
