Sun Polish 5

Press Sample

Are you a traditionalist during the holidays and go with reds and greens? This year, I'm seriously considering decorating in more of a "Winter Wonderland" theme with blues and silvers and that's one reason why I reached for this Sun Polish today.

Sun Polish is 4-free and cruelty free with 10% of their profits going to an organization that empowers women in Los Angeles. Today I'm wearing 5, which is an inky blue creme.

I used a base of Duri Rejuvacote, two thin coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat. The polish was a little streaky on the first coat but the second coat looked good on my nails.

Under the lights, it almost looks like I need a third coat to be totally opaque but I was happy with just two. While I only wore this polish for less than an hour, I didn't have any staining when removing. Always wear a base coat especially with highly pigmented polishes.

Sun Polish may be purchased on their website for $12 a bottle. Join the conversation on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
