It's the finale of the cuccio Summer 2022 Karaoke collection - today I have Liquid Courage, which is listed as a white shimmer topper. Now, to me, this is a nude color with lots of green shimmer, so I was a bit excited to wear this one.

I have another Shimmer polish from my Pookie's Polish Swap and it's named Crystal (so close!). This is a glitter bomb of brown, gold, green, amber and there was originally holo sparkle. This polish was originally released in 2013 and I do feel like some of the green glitter has faded.

Today's polish cracked me up because this is legit a nacho yellow neon creme. Today from the cuccio Summer 2022 Karaoke collection, I have KJ on the Mic and it absolutely reminds me of nacho cheese.

Vegan Pure Pool Party

I have another polish from my recent swap and today is a new-to-me brand called Vegan Pure and this is the color Pool Party. Vegan Pure says they have a 16-day wear time which is pretty impressive. This is a light jade green creme.

Fanchro-matic Nails The Grudge

I got my 16th swap from the Pookie's Polish Swap yesterday and I was paired with Rachel again and man, she sent me a great box! Today I have Fanchro-matic Nails The Grudge, a slightly rusty blood red crelly with green-blue-purple shifting shimmer and iridescent color shifting flakes. This was part of the Halloween Cursed Box from 2020 that was hosted by Necessary Evil polish.

KBShimmer After Midnight (R)

This is the last reflective glitter from KBShimmer that I own. This is a pure black polish with silver reflective glitter called After Midnight. Now, when I originally put this on, I was mad that it had gotten thick too and I originally put it in my sale pile but after I was able to restore my others, I filled it with restoration drops and let it do its thing.

KBShimmer Grayscale

I have a problem with wanting every single black and white glitter polish but KBShimmer broke the mold by adding gray (grey?) glitter in Grayscale. I decided to layer this over my cuccio Encore because red + white + black is magical.

I think I was most excited for this cuccio color from the Summer 2022 Karaoke collection. This is Encore, a fire red neon creme. I do think this was a bit more jelly than creme but it definitely does dry matte.

KBShimmer Fleece Navidad

I was looking at my KBShimmer drawer and I completely forgot I had this polish in my drawer! This is Fleece Navidad, and it's a soft, silvery grey with holographic sparkle and blue micro flakes. This was from the Winter 2015 collection.

Moving through the cuccio Summer 2022 Karaoke collection and today I have the collection's name sake - Karaoke Party. This was listed as a glowing orchid neon creme and so I figured my bottle had faded or something. Nope - it really is way more pink than purple or magenta.

KBShimmer All That Glimmers (R)

So when I pulled out KBShimmer All That Glimmers (R) a pink reflective glitter, it was rock hard. Now, that can happen especially when you don't seal your bottle entirely. I have the KBShimmer Restoration Drops Polish Thinner and I put a ton of it in the bottle and let it sit overnight. I ended up doing that three more times and today, it was perfectly back to it's original state.

Great Lakes Lacquer Festival of Fantasies

I was organizing one of my Helmer drawers and pulled this Great Lakes Lacquer polish called Festival of Fantasies which is a limited edition from PolishCon Chicago 2017. This is a beautiful violet jelly with red-to-green shimmer and red-to-bronze flakies. I can't believe I haven't worn it before!

There's only two polishes left in the cuccio Spring 2022 "Go With The Flow" collection and today I have Calm, Cool & Collected. This is a light green with a slight yellow shimmer. It almost gives it a pearl look.

I'm still cleaning out my KBShimmer drawer and today I have Purple Reign, which was the PolishCon Minneapolis 2018 VIP Bag exclusive. I'm really sad that I didn't get to attend but was happy to be able to buy a VIP bag on their website after the event. This is a beautiful purple holographic with pink shimmer.

I liked this polish so much, I bought it twice. This is KBShimmer Novel Idea (R) and it's a grape purple multi-shimmer with reflective glitter. There's SO many colors to this polish.

This polish - boy. This is Colores de Carol Cosmic Witch, which was a Hella Handmade Creations polish from December 2025. It appears the theme was Witching Hour. This is a grape purple polish with tons of micro glitter, glitter moons and glitter discs.

Another day, another new-to-me polish brand! This is Nailtopia Nallor's Knot, a medium blue creme. I hadn't heard of this brand prior to receiving it in this swap. Nailtopia nail lacquer is 85% bio-sourced. Vegetable based ingredients like, potato, corn, wheat and manioc partially replace conventional petrochemical solvents, plasticizer and nitrocellulose. Quite interesting!

When KBShimmer launched her line of reflective glitter polishes in 2021, I immediately bought four, including today's polish, Tapped Out. This is a gorgeous dark-wash denim blue polish with glowy pink shimmer, and you can sometimes see green or gold. Add in some silver reflect pigment, and it's just amazing.

Well, today I have another faded polish, sadly. This is KBShimmer Flake Me Home Tonight, originally a mint-green metallic with silver flakes and holographic microglitter. This polish is 10 years ago and again, metallics just don't hold up like a creme or even a holo.

I was in love with this polish when it first came out in Winter 2014. This is KBShimmer Pine-ing For Yule, a clear-based glitter with holographic micro glitter, green triangles, and red stars. I didn't realize it at the time, but this was a Toys for Tots charity polish! If you follow me on Instagram, you may know that I'm now a Toys for Tots coordinator, which makes me very excited.

KBShimmer Bean There, Done That

I have another Chicago PolishCon 2017 limited edition polishes from KBShimmer today. This is Bean There, Done That, inspired by the chrome silver sculpture, which reflects the sky and surroundings in Millennium Park (most commonly known as The Bean). This polish also has a beautiful color shift shimmer from blue to pink (and I really saw it as more purple).
