I miss Tonic Polish. They had so many great polishes! Today I have Starlit Dawn from their Late Summer 2020 collection. This is a scattered holo with peach-red iridescent shimmer and flakies that shift from yellow to green.

Cupcake Polish Carrie

When I originally got this polish, I put it to the side but I figured it's only fair to swatch it before I put it in my sale/trade pile. I do like to be part of the digital footprint of polishes on the Internet. This is Cupcake Polish Carrie, released in September 2024 as part of the Polish Pick Up for September. This is a red flakie in a light grey base which turns black when the thermal is activated.

Baby Girl Lacquer Pretty Little Protos 1

Another day, another new-to-me brand. This is Baby Girl Lacquer, formerly known as Dainty Digits Polish. This is Pretty Little Protos 1, and it's a promo item that I received in my Pookie's Polish Swap. This is a mid-olive creme with different sized flakies and glitter shreds.

Different dimension Mystery Prototype 292

I have 7 polishes here from my last Pookie's Polish Swap and today is Different dimension Mystery Prototype 292. This is a light pink with blue flakies. This was released in March 2022. The flakies photograph orange in some lights in the bottle but it's definitely blue.

Cadillacquer You've Got Red On You

I have another Pookie Polish Swap color today. This is Cadillacquer You've Got Red On You, a deep burgundy (cold) to fuchsia (warm) thermal with glowing red/orange iridescent flakies. This was inspired by a quote from the movie Shaun of the Dead for the 2023 February Polish Pick Up.

I don't wear a lot of solar polishes because their shelf lives tend to be a little short. Today I have a new-to-me brand with Danglefoot. This is Goosebumps, and it's a milky white that is supposed to transition to purple in the sun, and there are light blue/lilac iridescent flakes and silver flakes.

I have another Don Deeva polish today from my Pookie's Polish Swap and this one is Plastic Thoughts. This is a jelly purple polish with lots of shimmer and flakies.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited George

I'm getting through my Pookie's Polish Swap before I get back to some press samples that I've received and this is another thermal polish. This is Pretty Beautiful Unlimited George. I couldn't find much about this polish but it's a lime green polish with holographic glitter, flakies, and orange shimmer.

'ard As Nails Bedtime Bash

I have another 'ard As Nails polish today from my Pookie's Polish Swap, and this one is called Bedtime Bash. This was part of the March 2024 Polish Pickup, and it’s a white-to-gold shimmer base with a pinky-purple flash and lots of purple flakes. 

BCB Lacquers Snow-veralls

Another new-to-me indie brand today! This is BCB Lacquers, and this polish is called Snow-veralls. This is inspired by 90’s Winter Snow Clothes and it's as a hot pink crelly with purple/pink/blue flakes and black metallic flakes. The bottom of the label says "Day One Fashion Duo" - but I couldn't really find anything else about it as I'm writing.

Painted Polish Gilded Pansy

In one of my last Pookie's Polish Swaps, I got this beautiful polish from Painted Polish. This is Gilded Pansy, and you can see it's this beautiful deep purple with gold flakie. This was part of the Gilded Garden Party released in Spring 2023.

Whatcha Werewolf in London

In my 10th Pookie's Polish Swap, I was partnered with sleepyholonails and she sent me some goodies! Today I have a new-to-me indie brand from Brazil called Whatcha. This polish is called Werewolf in London and was inspired by the movie "An American Werewolf in London." It's a crelly periwinkle/indigo base with iridescent pink and black flakies.

Witchcult Nail Lacquer Sea Glass

I have such a love/hate with thermal polishes. Today I have another new-to-me indie called witchcult nail lacquer and this is their thermal Sea Glass. From what I can tell online, it's a seafoam-aqua stage when warm, and is a grey-purple when cold. There's also lots of mylar flakies running through it. Unfortunately, my bottle is "dead" and stuck in its cold state.

Zoya Maisie

Last month I showed you Zoya Opal, now here is Zoya Maisie from the same Fleck Effects collection. This one is green mylar flakies in a blue-tinted base. The bottle is beautiful on its own for sure.

Zoya Opal

Okay, okay, let me finally layer a polish like I'm supposed to! Now, this is the original Zoya Opal, a green/blue flakie in a clear base released in 2012. The item # is ZP583. If you look up Opal on the Zoya website now, it's a pink with rose glitter and #ZP1238 released in 2024. Why the rename? I have no idea.

For some reason, hashtags haven't worked for me, but if you're interested, PookieBear0625 is the group owner. Today I have Noodles Nail Polish Blue Lagoon, a semi-sheer, cyan blue crelly with blue/green/gold shifting flakes, light blue matte glitter, and lime/gold iridescent glitter. This was from the August 2023 For The Love of Polish Box called "Summer Drinks."
