Dare to Wear Innocence

This past summer when I headed to Cosmoprof, I got a chance to meet with the team from Dare to Wear. Their huge news was that they were just relaunching their website to support e-commerce for both professionals and consumers which is awesome news in this day and age. I purchase most things online and rarely go into stores anymore especially for beauty items.

The Dare to Wear Fall 2017 "Exposed" collection was a nice nod to nudes, featuring six soft bare skin shades for the change in season. Today I'm wearing Innocence, a classic ivory creme. However, this isn't ivory white like I expected but more of a pinky creme.

I used a base coat of Duri Revujacote, 3 thin coats of polish and finished Glisten & Glow top coat. The formula was nice, not too thin and may have been able to use just two coats but decided on a third to ensure a smooth finish. This polish doesn't give me mannequin hands but it is a nice alternative to wear when you're going to use a glitter topper and don't want to have to wear tons of layers.

See? Just a happy little polish. It's also a nice palette cleanser after I wore that teal shimmer with holo yesterday.

Dare to Wear can be purchased in select salons or online on their website for $6.50. Join the social conversation on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest.
