LVX Coquillage

Press Sample

I feel like I'm finally getting back into the groove of blogging. Granted, I'm doing a lot of it during the night hours when I should be sleeping but hey, who needs sleep?

Today I grabbed for LVX Coquillage from the Spring Summer 2017 release. This is an ultra soft pink creme inspired by the fashions of Christian Dior, Blumarine, Chanel and Andrew Gn. Because this is so soft, I used Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling base coat, 3 thin coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat.

As I expected, coat one was streaky and scary looking. However, by coat two, the polish self leveled and was looking nice. I only decided on a third coat because I wanted to make sure everything was nice and smooth but I could have done without. Honestly, my top coat smoothed out any imperfections that I thought I saw.

This is a great office neutral and almost looks white at first glance. While it's not my go-to color, it's a nice palette cleanser and pretty to look at.

LVX [Website | Facebook | Twitter | YouTube | Instagram] is available on their website for $18 a 15 ml/0.5 oz bottle.  It is big 7 free to include Toluene and Camphor, vegan and cruelty free.
