YouTube is a powerhouse. It's hard to believe that something that launched on Valentine's Day 2005, has become the platform for over 2 BILLION users monthly. There's a huge 81% of 15-25 year olds in the US alone who use YouTube and makeup is by far my favorite category of videos. Today I have the new Sasha Anne Sugar and Spice collection, launching tomorrow, Tuesday 11/10/2020. Sasha Anne started her channel in 2013 and has almost 1.5 million views of her videos.

Sugar (candy pink) and Spice (cinnamon red) are both creme polishes with a slight matte finish. The duo was named after Sasha's journey from a shy young girl to a "super-hero" of sorts, helping to inspire others to find their inner voice and follow their dreams.

For both manicures, I started with a ridge filler base coat and then used two thin coats of polish. Sugar is slightly neon and so I almost needed a third coat for full coverage but was able to only use two because of my nail length. Spice was VERY pigmented and really only needed one coat but I did a second to make sure that I didn't have any thin spots. I finished both polishes with a high gloss quick coat for shine and durability.

See how Sugar pops! This would be a great summer pedicure for me but it's also a great manicure color. I was very impressed with the pigmentation with how bright it was.

And here's Spice. As I mentioned this is SUPER pigmented so be careful around your cuticles. Keep your clean up brush handy!

These two colors are definitely complimentary for nail art. I didn't check to see if they stamp but considering the pigmentation, I wouldn't be surprised. These polishes are vegan, cruelty-free, free of toluene, formaldehyde and phthalate-free.

These bottles are 7 mL/0.25 fl and the set of two is being sold on Sasha Anne's Instagram @simplysashanne for $15.00 starting Tuesday, November 10th.
