I have another Mooncat polish tonight called Magic Mushroom - this was from the 2023 Kaleidoscope Haze collection. This was a jelly collection that was filled with iridescent flakes. Now this polish is a bright yellow-toned citrus orange base with pink and yellow iridescent flakes.

I still have just a few polishes from my 17th Pookie's Polish Swap and one of them is Sweet Heart Polish Helios. This was from the January 2023 Polish Pick Up and it's a red-orange and golden shimmer inspired by the God and personification of the Sun.

Did you hear that IKEA discontinued the 6-drawer Helmer and now it's a 5-drawer? Because of this, I'm trying to really go through my drawers and pair down because I refuse to buy a mismatched Helmer. Now somehow, I made swatch sticks of 10 Morgan Taylor polishes and didn't wear them on my nails so I pulled those 10 and here we go! Today I have Denim Du Jour which I think was part of their core release in 2013.

ORLY x Lisa Frank Hits the Spot

I decided to reuse yesterday's manicure to show off this ORLY x Lisa Frank polish that I got from my last Pookie's Polish Swap. This is Hits the Spot, and is a multicolored small glitter polish in a clear base. There's also mini yellow stars and tiny holographic glitter.

Who doesn't love a good deep wine purple shimmer polish? Today I have China Glaze You're a Mean One from the Christmas 2018 "The Grinch" collection. This was a collaboration with the movie that came out that year. This is a gorgeous deep purple with wine/magenta shimmer.

Since I was wearing my favorite grey, I decided to put on another polish from my 17th Pookie's Polish Swap with dc_nails4fun. This is ORLY x Kelli Marissa Moonlight Ritual from her 2023 Haunted House Halloween Advent calendar box. This is a full sized polish with tons of blue shimmer, purple shimmer, teal/purple/blue glitter and holographic silver crescent moons all in a clear base.

For years I've been looking for THE perfect grey and this love, Angeline Did You Say Peppercorn? has been the closest I've gotten. This matte slate grey has a teeny tiny bit of blue flash and I will cry when I finally run out of it.

China Glaze Gothic Lolita

My nails haven't been this long in a very long time (lol). I know I'm going to have to shorten them soon since it's getting harder to type and I do use a computer every day between work and home. Today I've pulled China Glaze Gothic Lolita from the Spring 2012 ElectroPop collection. I have to say, 2012 was a great year for me and I remember this collection pretty fondly. This was in the "Lights" 6-piece of the collection and it's a purple polish with a tiny hint of a shimmer flash but you barely see it.

China Glaze December to Remember

So here's an oldie! From the China Glaze 2014 "Twinkle" holiday collection, I have December to Remember, a dark blue polish with pink/purple iridescent shimmer. This was part of a 12 piece collection that also had 5 gift sets and 5 nail art kits. No shot glass in this collection but I do have a couple of them from other years.

ILNP Flip Side (M)

When I was preparing for my work trip last month, I considered wearing an ILNP Magnetic for the days I'd be gone so I pulled out a bunch of them. I thought it would only be right to swatch them before I put them back in my Helmer. Today I have ILNP Flip Side from the Illusions collection. Now, this says it's a magenta to orange to gold sparkle with blue to teal magnetic pigment. That's a mouthful.

Today from the 2016 Seas and Greetings collection, I have Good Tide-ings, a lilac-blue creme. This was actually their holiday collection - which was definitely a huge departure from the normal reds and greens of the holidays.

This polish is an oldie but a goodie! From the 2012 China Glaze On Safari collection, this is I'm Not Lion, a gold glitter in a clear base with holo microglitters. I cannot believe I haven't worn this year. This is such a gorgeous polish.

It's time for another 2009 polish from China Glaze. This is Custom Kicks from the Kicks Collection. This was a 12-piece neon collection that paid homage to Sneakerheads everywhere. Custom Kicks was listed as a dusty teal but it really was a beautiful teal with the tiniest of gold shimmer.

I was obsessed with this collection - a 50 piece collection of glitters, shimmers, and just beautiful colors. This is the collection that Rose Tea comes from.

I received this next bottle from my Pookie's Polish Swap. I hadn't heard of feral before so I went looking and learned that this is the rebrand of 77 Lacquer. This is Mystery 5, a grey creme with orange shimmer.

I have another Lucky 13 Lacquer polish from my 17th Pookie's Polish Swap with dc_nails4fun and Lord of the Dead, a blue flakie thermal. The light blue turns to a purple but I could barely get that to work. I don't think this is a dead thermal - I just think my nails aren't long enough right now.

Today I have China Glaze Cranberry Splash, a ruby red shimmer. This came from the 2012 Holiday Joy collection which also had some beautiful glitters in it.

I'm back in the second half of the Zoya Beachy Brights 3 Summer 2026 collection and today I have Rio, a vivid molten red-orange shimmer. This color is GORGEOUS. It reminds me of the glass fleck polishes that made me fall in love with Zoya originally.

I grabbed the second half of the Zoya Beachy Brights 3 Summer 2026 collection and the first color is Aja, a sun-washed pastel neon orange creme. Think mac n cheese because that's how I felt with this polish. I can see the melon inspired look they were going for but it just reminded me of cheese.

China Glaze Under the Boardwalk

YAY it's neon time! Today I pulled China Glaze Under the Boardwalk from the 2012 Summer Neon collection. When I was looking it up, it said that it was a bright plum jelly so uh... what happened. Did mine fade? No, come to find out, there were two versions of this polish. There was the light purple and then there was a raspberry pink which is the one I received. Fun fact, this polish was repromoted in 2015 in the Make It Rain-Bow brights trio.

Zoya Zelli

Today I have the other Zoya polish from the Beachy Brights 3 that I hadn't seen before but it was a repeat color. This is Zelli, a vibrant hot pink creme. This is such a bright pink in person and on camera.

Zoya's Summer 2026 collection just came out and it's called Beachy Brights 3. Six of these polishes are from other collections and 6 are brand new. I wanted to check Alora to see if it was really the same one as before. This is a raspberry pink creme.

Making my way through my Helmer and today I have another Glam Polish from the Knockout Collection. This is BAM! which is a green-based turquoise holographic polish. I think mine may have faded a little bit since its original release in 2015.

I have the most random China Glaze polishes. Today I'm sharing Shut The Front Door! from the 2016 House of Colour collection. This is a purple pearl that is almost orchid like. This collection was supposed to be inspired by the eclectic tones of the 1970s.

China Glaze C-C-Courage

Another dark China Glaze polish today! This is China Glaze C-C-Courage, a dusty dark purple with silver glitter. This 2009 polish was a re-release of the 2001 version in the Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection but it wasn't a perfect match. I feel that this one is a bit more gritty and I was told the original had a pink frost to it.

Glam Polish Bohemian Rhapsody

Another throwback to 2015 with my Glam Polish Bohemian Rhapsody from the Gleek collection. This was in the height of Glee, the tv show and I bought the whole collection which consisted of nine polishes. This is a raspberry-pink holographic polish with holographic microglitter.

What's with these bottles being impossible to see. This is China Glaze Smoke and Ashes from the Capitol Collection... this was supposed to be District 12 - Coal. This is a super dark base (pretty much black) with green/blue shimmer.

How (why) do I have 51 Glam Polish bottles? I swear, it's like a surprise every time I open my Helmer drawers. Today I have Did You Catch That? which was originally an orchid crelly holo with red holo microglitter, shimmer, and glass flecks. This was from the Under The Sea collection that came out in 2015. I do think my bottle may have faded because it feels more pink than purple.

I will never forget in 2011 when China Glaze said they were releasing their Tronica Collection which was supposed to be the remix of the OMG linear holographic polishes. I couldn't wait to buy every single one of them because I LOVED the OMG collection with all my little heart. Today I'm bringing you Hyper Haute, a raspberry "holo" polish.

Finishing up my Great Lakes Lacquer polishes and today is Leaves In The Lake. This is a dark navy jelly with red-gold flakies. This was part of the PolishCon 2016 Chicago exclusive. The brush on this was super fluffy.

So, this bottle was impossible to photograph. From the China Glaze 2016 Rebel Collection, this is Teen Spirit, a super deep black-blue with metallic blue shimmer. This whole collection was such a vibe. Lots of darken polishes and then some random cremes.

Painted Polish Mer-Maid It To The Pier

I thought I had a lot of Painted Polish bottles but it's only 10 as well. I have at least three different logos of theirs but I really like the current one which is a rectangle of two P's. This is an older polish called Mer-Maid It To The Pier, which was the exclusive polish for PolishCon 2017 at the Navy Pier in Chicago. Now sadly, it appears that my bottle has faded as this was originally a lavender/light periwinkle creme base, holographic glitter & multichrome metallic flakies.

Great Lakes Lacquer Bayou Shenanigans
