If you've been here a minute, you've heard about my #PookiesPolishSwap where I'm in an Instagram group that trades 5 or more polishes with another person. In August, we had our 19th swap (my 18th since I missed the first one) and I was partnered with Kate from kitchensinknails. She sent me some CUTE polishes including Zoya Andrea, a purple to green duochrome metallic polish. This came out in the Fall 2020 Luscious Collection.

I grabbed a random Morgan Taylor polish today from my Helmer. I thought I had worn this before but nope! This is Perfect Match, a pink based nude creme. I'm pretty sure this is from the core line.

I can't believe there's only two more polishes in the Zoya Sonnet Fall 2026 collection! Today I pulled our Merritt, a smoldering muted black cherry creme. This was such a pretty red so I was excited for it.

At first, I couldn't understand the reference but then I recalled that some of the older wooden nutcrackers wore green pants or had green coat accents so I'm following.

I first heard about the Zoya Fall 2026 Sonnet collection in late July and Zoya has always done really great fall collections so I was excited. I'm not fully sure what happened in shipping but my press samples weren't sent until late August and arrived on August 25. I was in the middle of my Morgan Taylors so this had to wait just a bit. Today I'm starting with Thatcher, which is a warm chestnut burnished gold crushed velvet metallic.

When I tell you that I was DETERMINED to find the final polish from Morgan Taylor Matadora Fall 2017 collection, I sat there going through every single drawer until I found it. It, of course, was the last drawer but thankfully it was like the 5th I pulled from that drawer. This is Morgan Taylor All Tango'd Up, a deep, rich oxblood burgundy creme.

I grabbed another glitter from the box on my desk and guess what? It's a new Morgan Taylor collection! This is the Thrill of the Chill Winter 2017 collection and I'm a bit surprised that somehow I made swatch sticks of this entire collection but didn't wear them! Today I have Ice Cold Gold, which is a yellow gold glitter with gold shreds in a gold-clear base.

Today I have the OG Morgan Taylor. This is Fame Game and it was the first polish that they came out with. It's a silver holographic glitter in a clear base but I feel like my bottle has yellowed a bit? I want to get a new bottle next time I see one online to compare.

Only two polishes left in the cuccio "Paradiso" Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Today I have Paradiso, which is listed as a bright turquoise creme. I have to be honest - I thought maybe my bottles were mislabeled because this to me looks like mint - not turquoise.

To me, this is more lavender with a lot of rosy tones to it but it may have faded in the 3 years I've owned it. I do keep all my polishes in a Helmer, in a cool(ish) room, away from sunlight.

I'm trying to get through the entire cuccio "Paradiso" Spring/Summer 2023 collection before I move onto anything else. Today I have the stand out rose gold glitter La Dolce Vita which I was so excited for. I didn't realize that this is in a clear base.

I'm finally reviewing my final cuccio collection that I had received from the company. The "Paradiso" Spring/Summer 2023 collection was a throwback to cuccio's Italian roots. So I've noticed that cuccio has definitely been more into their gels and nail care but in looking at their website, they did have a Spring/Summer 2026 collection called Spellbound that has both lacquer and gel. Back to today's polish - this is Monza Monza, a poppy red shimmer.

Shinespark Moondust Holo

Today's polish is really bittersweet (IYKYK). This is Shinespark Nail Polish Moondust Holo, a scattered holo topper. The reason this is so bittersweet is that the brand owner, Molly Watson, was murdered by her fiance who was living a double life. She and I had talked quite a bit about her fiance back when I was active on BabyCenter during my pregnancy with my second kiddo so this has just been a hard memory to go through.

Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier

Sometimes I forgot about the polishes I have like this unicorn from Ninja Polish called Mystic Glacier. This was from the Enigma collection and it's a soft blue base with multichromatic pigments in copper and green. I've seen this polish sell for nearly $100 on resale sites and I have been tempted.

Alchemy Lacquers Effervescent

I have my last polish from the latest Pookie Polish Swap and this is Alchemy Lacquers Effervescent from the Peacock Parade collection that I think was released in Summer 2022. This is a beautiful glowy blue polish with green duochrome shimmer.

Pahlish Kismet

I'm powering through my latest Pookie's Polish Swap and today is Pahlish Kismet, from the 2025 "Life of a Showgirl" collection. Kismet is a prussian blue with fine purple/pink/gold shimmer. Now, the prussian blue is so hard to photograph but it is the base especially in the first two coats.

I have another polish from my Pookie's Polish Swap and this is from the brand Fair Maiden. This is Unbreakable from the Breast Cancer Awareness 2022 box that was on Hearts & Promises website. This is a beautiful magenta purple with blue shimmer.

I have another jen & berries polish today from one of my Pookie's Secret Swap partners. This is Darmok and Jalad on the Ocean and was a "Trek of the Month" polish. This is a beautiful ultramarine blue base with multi-shifting shimmers of gold, red, and green.
