I'm still cleaning out my KBShimmer drawer and today I have Purple Reign, which was the PolishCon Minneapolis 2018 VIP Bag exclusive. I'm really sad that I didn't get to attend but was happy to be able to buy a VIP bag on their website after the event. This is a beautiful purple holographic with pink shimmer.

Another KBShimmer today! This is Stop and Smell the Rose and this was originally a beautiful rose gold holographic shade. Unfortunately, mine has faded.

I'm working on some more KBShimmer polishes from my Helmer drawers and today I have KBShimmer Alcohol You Later, a PolishCon 2016 limited edition polish. This is a purple holographic polish with a multi-chrome red and copper shifts.

I have another KBShimmer Fall 2014 polish today! This is Up and Cunning, a deep linear holographic teal. There was definitely a point in my polish life where I had to have ALL THE HOLOS. KBShimmer always had some great formulas.

cuccio reach for the stars

I'm at the finale of the cuccio Fall/Winter 2021 "Your Time to Shine" collection and this was the one I was most excited for. This is reach for the stars, a glistening silver holographic glitter. It's like crushed diamonds for your nails!

KBShimmer Flake Me Home Tonight

Well, today I have another faded polish, sadly. This is KBShimmer Flake Me Home Tonight, originally a mint-green metallic with silver flakes and holographic microglitter. This polish is 10 years ago and again, metallics just don't hold up like a creme or even a holo.

KBShimmer Bean There, Done That

I have another Chicago PolishCon 2017 limited edition polishes from KBShimmer today. This is Bean There, Done That, inspired by the chrome silver sculpture, which reflects the sky and surroundings in Millennium Park (most commonly known as The Bean). This polish also has a beautiful color shift shimmer from blue to pink (and I really saw it as more purple).

KBShimmer Hello Dahlia

I've been going through my KBShimmer drawer and today I've pulled a polish from the Spring 2016 collection. This is Hello Dahlia, a shimmery orange crelly with micro holo dust and golden micro flakes. This polish was based on the 2016 Pantone Spring/Summer shade "Peach Echo."

Don Deeva Laverne

I decided to pull out this Don Deeva Laverne from my last Pookie's Polish Swap, which is a medium purple with "unicorn sister pigments and original unicorn pee", holo flecks and random glitter. This was part of a Laverne and Shirley duo released in October 2018.

I have a few more polishes from my last Pookie's Polish Swap and today is a brand called Familiar Polish and this is Faerie Wings. This is a dusty rose/mauve crelly with strong aqua shimmer, a blue to purple aurora shimmer and ultra fine gold holographic glitter.

I have another Nailed It! polish today! This is Sleigh My Name, and it's a light purple holographic polish. This is a limited edition from their Black Friday 2023 collection. There's also a #3 on the bottom written in black Sharpie, so I'm not sure what that means.

Woo! I'm at the grand finale of the Zoya Muse Fall 2025 collection and today is Zoya Starling, a muted periwinkle with pink iridescence and a sprinkle of holographic glitter.

Nvr Enuff Wildfire

I have another Pookie's Polish Swap color today. My swap partner, Forever Lacquered, was so generous with a great variety of polishes! This is Nvr Enuff Wildfire, described as an "acid-green linear holo with micro green/gold flakes, a golden shift and a splash of iridescent glitters." This was from the Winter Is Here, Game of Thrones collection back in 2017.

Back in 2017, I had the opportunity to attend The Indie Shop event in San Antonio. It was great to see Leah Ann LaRowe (yes, the polish brand is her name!) in person again and since she was a fellow Texan, this polish was made in that honor. This is colors by llarowe I'm Home, and it was the limited edition polish that year. This is a light cranberry red holographic polish.

Who doesn't love a purple holographic polish? Today I'm showcasing colors by llarowe What's Your Dream? from 2015 as part of the Pretty Woman 25th Anniversary collection. Don't shoot me but I've actually never seen Pretty Woman. There's a lot of movies I missed out on growing up and I'm trying to catch up now. This is a blue based purple holographic polish.
