Today's polish is really bittersweet (IYKYK). This is Shinespark Nail Polish Moondust Holo, a scattered holo topper. The reason this is so bittersweet is that the brand owner, Molly Watson, was murdered by her fiance who was living a double life. She and I had talked quite a bit about her fiance back when I was active on BabyCenter during my pregnancy with my second kiddo so this has just been a hard memory to go through.
I started with Cult Nails Fetish which is a matte black polish. I started decided to see how much I could layer on my nails. On my pinkie, I used one coat, two coats on my ring finger, three coats on my middle finger and four whopping coats on my index finger. I topped everything with a quick dry top coat.
As with most scattered holos, this is hard to photograph but it's just a good topper to have and I can't dare part with it.
