I had a little squeal moment when my son called and said I had a package from OPI at the front door. Today I have OPI My Kryptonite from the OPI x Supergirl Collection. This is a soft white polish with silver pearl shimmer.
I started with cuccio Base Coat, three coats of polish, and finished with Zoya Glossy Seal top coat. The application wasn't difficult but took a little time to figure out the right amount of polish on the brush to make sure to have even coats.
So my first thought was... I thought Kryptonite was green in Superman. Well, it is, but in Supergirl, her dog is named Krypto and this polish was inspired by the aforementioned white dog. I haven't seen the movie (I don't go much anymore) but I may have to catch it when it hits streaming.
I have three more polishes from the OPI x Supergirl collection to review and I know I'm a bit behind in my polish adventures but here's to August!
