China Glaze Monsterpiece

Press Sample

It's been over two years since I wrote about China Glaze. It's funny how this was MY BRAND when I got into the beauty blog world... so much so that I wanted to call my blog "China Glaze Galore." There's a lot that this brand did for me, and did right. They will always have a place in my heart. Today I'm wearing Monsterpiece from the China Glaze x Sesame Street "You Do Hue" collection that came out in Fall 2019. This is a pink scattered holo with a touch of berry.

I started with Morgan Taylor REACT max Optical Brightener base coat, 3 coats of polish and finished with a prototype top coat that I'm testing. This top coat is supposed to especially work well with holographic polishes so I'm stoked.

So unfortunately, this polish did NOT work well with my base coat and that's why I needed 3 coats BUT I really do love how pretty it is. It's a scattered holo that almost flames out at extreme light so look, it's fantastic. When I first saw these polishes, I wasn't sure what to think about them... I do have the rest of the collection here but it may be a little bit before I get through them all. I have 5 collections ahead of it and I really want to start showing some of the polishes that I bought personally and love.
