Sally Hansen Mauve-olous

I have a few more Sally Hansen polishes to go through and today I pulled out the Miracle Gel™ collection that I was sent by the company. Today I'm using Mauve-olous, a melon creme. According to their website, Miracle Gel™ is patented technology for longer wear with no UV lamp required.

The directions say to apply 2 coats to clean, dry nails, wait for 5 minutes and apply the Miracle Gel™ top coat. I do have both their regular top coat and their Matte top coat but I'm going to be using the regular for this polish. I did actually use 3 coats instead of two because I was getting a bit of streaking with just 2. The top coat is definitely a thick, gel like consistency, so make sure you let it fully dry before resuming activities.

I also ended up bumping my ring finger before my photos. My nails are in a little bit of a rough patch after the holidays but I have a natural manicure scheduled for next week to get them cleaned up.

This color is a great office appropriate melon pink. I did not test the wear because body chemistry, human nature and climate can really vary from person to person.
