Spring 2015 New York Fashion Week - butter LONDON

Now, some of you may remember that in September, I was on my way to my first ever New York Fashion Week but Baby Emery decided to pull out the stops and send me right back home before I even made it to NYC.

However, I did get the inside look for some of the hottest nail looks!Today I'm showing the looks from butter LONDON. (All images courtesy of butter LONDON)

The Scoop: Built on water and steeped in beauty, the Golden Palace of Venice is our destination. The collection is full of intricate detailing paired with playful transparencies. The colors of Venice inspire the palette – glowing pastels of frosted jade, pink shadow and blue stone are built up in layers.

The Nail Look: Here’s how Katie created the look.
1. Apply butter LONDON Nail Foundation mixed with the new butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in High Tea (available 2015) to create a clean, nude base.

2. Use butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in The Full Monty applied with the Striping Brush (available in the butter LONDON Colour Hardwear Nail Art Tool Kit) to create a diagonal mesh-like pattern.

1. Apply butter LONDON Nail 999 Rescue Basecoat to add shine to the nail.

2. Then apply the new butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Full Steam Ahead (available November 2014) to the tips of each nail.

3. Apply butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Diamond Geezer with finger to create an ombre fade, which allows the darker shade to come through softly for added dimension and an ultra-modern effect.

4.  Lastly, top the nail off with butter LONDON Nail 999 Topcoat.
