Today I started reviewing the polishes on my desk, including the box sets from The United Colors Project 2024 called Colors for Kamala & Tim. This is "We Did It, Joe", a "heart red" creme polish. I used this back in November and remembered how pigmented these were. This was part of the "America the Beautiful" trio.

Jessica Starry Night
6.12.2025
I have had this bottle of polish in my desk organizer for quite some time, and today is the day to show it off. Today, I have Jessica Starry Night from the Phenom Vivid Colour collection. This is a 3-step system that dries in natural light and has a chip-resistant, gel-like shine for up to 10 days but removes like polish. Starry Night is a peacock blue with tiny blue microshimmer.
Elevation Polish x Pahlish The Merchant's Son
6.11.2025
This polish is a decade old and going to a new home, but I wanted to swatch it first. This is the Elevation Polish x Pahlish duo from the 2015 Cosmoprof North America convention. Back in the day, indies and bloggers would get together during the convention, which was really the precursor to PolishCon, The Indie Shop, Indie Expo Canada, and Polish & Beauty Expo. This was a thermal, green shimmer creme from turquoise (warm) to teal (cold). Mine has faded to a green version of the warm state.
Bluebird Lacquer Participation Trophy
6.10.2025
I have another mini bottle today. This is bluebird lacquer, which was transitioned from the brand name Lou It Yourself. Today, I have Participation Trophy from the PolishCon NYC VIP bag. It's a fuchsia polish with a very slight blue shimmer.
Witchcult Nail Lacquer Sea Glass
6.09.2025
I have such a love/hate with thermal polishes. Today I have another new-to-me indie called witchcult nail lacquer and this is their thermal Sea Glass. From what I can tell online, it's a seafoam-aqua stage when warm, and is a grey-purple when cold. There's also lots of mylar flakies running through it. Unfortunately, my bottle is "dead" and stuck in its cold state.
