Can you believe it's summer already? Today I have yet ANOTHER new-to-me indie brand called Cameo Colours. This is the shade Only Bad Witches Are Ugly, from the Polish Pickup June 2021. This is a gorgeous bubblegum pink with holographic glitter. The theme that month was "Over the Rainbows" and this was a nod to Glinda the Good Witch of course. But was she really good? This polish had a cap of only 100 bottles.
I started with Morgan Taylor REACTmax in Original, 2 coats of polish, and finished with cuccio High Gloss top coat. Now remember how I said this was a holographic glitter? While researching, I learned it also had pink/peach/gold shimmer, rose gold micro flakes, small and macro silver holo glitter and silver holo micro flakes. What!? That's a lot in one polish. So much that that it actually dried matte and I needed to add top coat for sure.
So I suffered a major nail break this morning while putting up dishes and so I chopped everything off. I was so sad especially because I hadn't had them as long as I did in quite some time. I have to admit, typing is much easier now, but I did love those long almond nails. I'm going to see how this month goes.
This is a really beautiful color and I think it's going to end up staying in my Helmers to wear again. I feel like this is perfect for spring and summer.
