I'm getting back to finishing my KBShimmer overhaul in my Helmer and we have another Limited Edition flakie polish. This is Dark Matter, and it's this gorgeous cobalt blue flakie. As with Aurora, the base has yellowed a little but it doesn't seem to affect the flakies.
I layered one coat of Dark Matter over Cult Nails Fetish. On my pinkie and ring fingers, I topped with cuccio High Gloss top coat and on my middle and index fingers, I used ILNP Frosted Glass Ultra Matte top coat.
I feel like flakies just need to be mattified to really be a stand out. I'm really torn on this one because while I don't see myself reaching for it, I don't own anything else like it. I'm holding it on the side to see how I feel about it once I finish the rest of the flakies.
