China Glaze Tickle My Triangle

Oldie by a goodie!  China Glaze Tickle My Triangle is a pink holographic from the Kaleidoscope collection.  I would definitely consider this my "go to" polish - I packed it on several trips including a flight to California where the formula turned weird on me after high altitude.  Apparently this isn't normal, as I learned from some bloggers who always bring polish on the plane in their carry on... but whatever.  I find that my polish is slightly thicker ever since California.  I used to get away with 1 thin coat but not anymore.

For this manicure on super nubbins (boo), I used 3 thin coats, no base and no top coat.

The Kaleidoscope collection was the follow up to the OMG! collection where instead of a linear (line like) rainbow, the polish was scattered with lots of holographic glitter particles which give off a scattered rainbow look.

Normally the shade removes all appearance of a holo from polish but you can just barely see some in there.

And finally indoors with the flash and you can see a bit of the holographic goodness on the index finger.  I do love this polish!  I need to wear it more often.  Sadly this is discontinued but sometimes you can find it on eBay or Amazon from sellers.

China Glaze can be found online through several etailers, including my favorite Head2Toe Beauty, Sally's Beauty Supply as well as TransDesign.

  1. My kind of PINK!!

I took a bottle of polish on the plane thinking I would polish them while in flight. Well, once on the plane I figured out that the fumes wouldn't be a good idea.

Later, I could smell polish and I thought, someone is doing their nails, OMG! Then I realized that the smell was coming from my purse. The bottle had blown up. I was trying to clean it up so it wouldn't ruin my purse. A stewardess came over and said in a very snotty way: Can I help you? I wanted to go hide out for the rest of the flight in the tiny restroom. =O

  2. Awww no! I'm so sad to hear that! Yeah, mine just got all thick and weird, but I know that Michelle from AllLacqueredUp puts hers in her carry on and to my knowledge, hasn't had any problems. On the way home from Cosmoprof, I just stuck them in the glass container packages (it's like super bubble wrap) from Southwest and prayed. And it worked so well!
