Anonymous Lacquer Set My Soul On Fire

Yesterday we had family photos. It's a tradition we've started with our family and I'm really glad we do it because I do love looking at how we grow each year. One thing I try to make sure I have, is manicured nails for our photo shoot. Unfortunately, yesterday's that's about all I had going for me.

Ever have one of those days? I couldn't get my hair colored like I wanted, and even ran out of time to get it styled so I tried to wash/dry/flat iron it the best I could... I threw on some makeup and a dress... One kid had snot down his face and a new shiner on his forehead from falling at day care while the other has had a huge growth spurt and his shoes nor his pants fit right. I have to just laugh about it but hey, at least my nails were on point.

After much deliberation, I decided on Anonymous Lacquer Set My Soul On Fire. This is one half of the Colors and Cocktails 2016 "Vegas Duo" that the brand had with Ever After. This polish came in the VIP bags and it's an absolutely gorgeous red holographic with golden shimmer.

I used a base coat of Glisten & Glow base coat, 2 coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat. I probably could have used one coat because this is very pigmented. I didn't have any issues with the formula - it glided on and stayed put.

You can see just how rich this polish really is - and look Ma, no more super nubbins! I've been having some issues with peeling and ridges again but I'm trying to just be calm and wear nail polish.

And here's one with a second light to show a little of the sparkle magic. It's not a true linear holographic but it's also not a true scattered holographic either. It's like a happy hybrid of the two.

Sadly, this polish isn't available anymore.
