One of my first China Glaze polishes was Ruby Pumps. I was so in love with the red glow of the glitter and how smooth it applied. You can image how much I love Salon Perfect's He's With Me, a red glitter that absolutely glows both in the bottle and on the nail.

I used a base coat of Cult Nails Get It On, 2 coats of polish and a top coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That.

How pretty is this? The coverage was excellent - totally opaque in just 2 coats.

Look at that glow! Squishy jelly goodness.

Absolutely full of love and win. If you can find this, snatch this up. And a back up. And another. So says me.

Salon Perfect Loves Me, Loves Me Not

Here's a weird twist on the normal black and white glitter - this is a pale pink and black glitter. When I saw Salon Perfect Loves Me, Love Me Not, I knew I had to have it for my collection.

I decided to add one coat over my existing manicure of In Love, and then on my ring finger, I put 2 coats of polish alone. This glitter dries matte.

I love the tiny glitter!

Indirect light - you can see the ring finger isn't opaque in 2 coats but I didn't really want to pack it on any more. Because the glitter is so tiny, it's hard to tell that it's pale pink and not white, but I promise it is.

Last year, I reviewed the Crabtree & Evelyn Conditioning Hand Soap which is my new favorite luxury. Mr. PG even bought me a new bottle of it on Valentine's Day for our bathroom because I used up all my press sample.

How many Barbie pinks does a woman need? The only correct answer is all of them. Today I have Salon Perfect In Love, a pink creme. I used a base coat of Cult Nails Get It On, 2 coats of polish and a top coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The formula on this polish was excellent.

Look how pretty! No streaks, no pooling, full coverage.

Looks a little dusty in the shade but still has that pop.

Then I'm like - hello indirect light. BAM. How beautiful is this polish? And for just $4?! Hello winner.

Did you know that there are over 500 indie nail polish brands out there? It makes some mainstream polishes really slip through my eyes, like Acquarella by Cure Diva. This is a water based polish that requires no base or top coat and doesn't contain toluene either. Have you heard of them before?

Salon Perfect Hearts-a-Flutter

Last month, Salon Perfect came out with a line perfect (hah) for Valentine's Day including this glitter - Hearts-A-Flutter. It's a small purple glitter with silver hearts in a clear base. I like that it's not your typical Valentine's Day polish but it's still appropriate for the holiday.  I used my existing manicure of Morgan Taylor Polished Up, added one coat of Hearts-A-Flutter and topped with Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. I fished each heart out using the brush only and dabbed the glitter to make sure I got the heart on the nail.

Cute polish! I like the silver hearts a lot since I'm such a silver fan.

In indirect light, the hearts reflect whatever is in front (in this case, it was my shirt which was yellow). Another reason why I have to remember to always wear white when photographing. It's the little things!

OPI Muppets Most Wanted

Last Friday, the Muppets Most Wanted opened in theaters nationwide. Did you go see it? I have a 7 year old who isn't too interested in the Muppets, but it may make for a good Redbox night.

Dermelect ME's Revival Collection

Have you seen Dermelect's ME polishes at Ulta yet? I was happy to see it there but unhappy that the display was all messy. I have some major issues with Ulta and their polish displays, but that's neither here nor there.

Gelaze by China Glaze

Last year at Cosmoprof North America, I was able to view the new China Glaze Gelaze - a gel polish line featuring your favorite China Glaze polishes.  If you recall, they were planning to roll this out in October/November 2013 but life happened and now it's finally here. Mostly.

So the lamp is still in production (to my knowledge), along with the treatments but for now, you can at least get this stuff on your nails.  I went to my local Sally Beauty Supply during their buy one get one free and got 3 colors and the top coat.

I purchased Coconut Kiss, Fairy Dust and Awakening - three of my favorite polishes of all times.

One day I decided to just start pulling random polishes out of my stash to wear. I had no rhyme or reason to it - just wanted to get a mish mash of items. One of those was Morgan Taylor Polished Up - a nude creme with a pink undertone. I used a base coat of Cult Nails Get It On, 2 coats of polish and a top coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That.

So good news is that this is super opaque, no streaks and it's pretty too look at. Bad news is that this polish totally flooded into my cuticles - not like the formula was bad, just runny.

It seems like China Glaze has done some pastels every spring for as long as I can remember - this time they are throwing some neons in the mix!
