I cannot believe how fast this year has passed me by. Today I have the Zoya Color of the Month from August - Tucker. It's a medium cool blue creme that does dry matte.

Lemming Lacquer Just Fear Me, Love Me, Do As I Say

I am in the middle of my 5th Pookie's Polish Swap and this time I got an amazing package from ForeverLacquered that included this beautiful bottle from Lemming Lacquer named Just Fear Me, Love Me, Do As I Say. The bottle label says it was from Polish Pickup February 2023 which was their Movie Quotes theme. Turns out the bottle name is a line from Labyrinth, which I've never seen. I know - I missed out a lot on movies in my younger years.

Girly Bits Prototype 5179

I just participated in my 5th Pookie's Polish Swap and had ForeverLacquered as my partner. She sent me an AMAZING box full of 35 polishes including this Girly Bits Prototype 5179. Typically, prototypes are just that - one or two bottles of a color while a maker is fine tuning a polish.

Last week, I wanted to try out the JReine VNL Veil polish that I got from my #PookiesPolishSwap with Rachel Lazzeri Nails but I had no idea it was such a nude color! While I was in cvs/pharmacy waiting on medicine, I found this brand Eternal Cosmetics and you KNOW I'm a sucker for black and white dot polish so Black Tie immediately came home with me.

Necessary Evil Road Less Traveled

Last month, I completed my 4th #PookiesPolishSwap on Instagram, and I was partnered with rachel.lazzeri.nails. She hooked me UP with 10 amazing polishes including this beauty from Necessary Evil called Road Less Traveled. The label on the bottom also says "2 yr Birthaversary 2019 OG UP 2-10/20". I hadn't heard much of the brand (in fact, the name of the company isn't on the bottle at all and I had to ask on Instagram who it was!) but OG UP?! Like... original "unicorn pee" which is a shifty green to red pigment that cannot be purchased anymore? Gimme all the polish!
