Seventy-Seven twisted tinsel

Today's polish is interesting. This is Seventy-Seven Nail Lacquer twisted tinsel, and it's a really pretty mix of mylar glitter shreds in a clear base. I received this during one of my Pookie's Polish Swap.

Zoya Opal

Okay, okay, let me finally layer a polish like I'm supposed to! Now, this is the original Zoya Opal, a green/blue flakie in a clear base released in 2012. The item # is ZP583. If you look up Opal on the Zoya website now, it's a pink with rose glitter and #ZP1238 released in 2024. Why the rename? I have no idea.

I have a few more Zoya polishes on my desk that I'm playing "Keep or Sell" with... Today I have Shivon, a purple rose-gold with duochrome shimmer.

I pulled another oldie but goodie from Zoya - Daul. This is a medium purple with heavy purple and gold iridescent metallic sparkle. This is such a great color for spring!

Last weekend, I started cleaning out my Helmer drawers and I found another Kokie polish called Center Stage. This is a purple and holographic glitter in a clear base. This is very much like Celestial.

If you've been in the indie world for some time, then you know how much of a burning desire there was for colors by llarowe (CbL) As Rome Burned, a fiery red holographic. I decided to let this polish go, but I wanted to wear it once, so I said I did.

I decided to organize my Helmers after "losing" polishes and in doing so, I am selling a few things like today's polish. This is Tonic Serendipity, which is a purple "unicorn pee" polish that has golden shimmer.

Kiko 505

Today I have a bottle of Kiko nail lacquer in the color 505. This is a bubblegum pink creme with holographic microglitter for a nice shimmer. I originally found this brand in Las Vegas but it appears that they have changed the bottle types and have added new colors to their inventory.

Here's another new brand to me! This is Moon Shine Mani With Mini Marshmallow, a November 2021 FB Custom. It's a clear base with pink and white round glitters and mini glitters. I decided to layer it over my previous mani from ella + mila.

Zoya Starlette

It's that time again! The Zoya Color of the Month for May is Starlette. This is a beautiful lilac purple holographic glitter that looks like crushed diamonds. This card with my polish mentioned channeling the grounded Taurus or embracing the Gemini spirit. I love that it's a bit of astrology with the beauty.

Zoya Reva

I'm revisiting a polish that I swatched back in 2011 from Zoya - Reva! This was from the Sunshine and Summertime Summer 2011 collection, and was listed as a cool toned strawberry red with glowing golden metallic sparkle that I like to call Glass Fleck. I was quite surprised to see that bottle had gotten darker since the last time that I used it.

OPI Mural Mural on the Wall

Well this is a unique one! I got this from my Pookie's Polish Swap and it's OPI Mural Mural on the Wall in their Infinite Shine 2 formula. So the Infinite Shine system is a 3 piece method to give you up to 11-days of long lasting wear. I don't own the Infinite 1 (base) or Infinite 3 (top), but I still wanted to share this coral/orange jelly polish that has golden shimmer.

FABY A Perfect Day

I have no idea where this bottle of FABY was hiding in my Helmer, but today I'm showing A Perfect Day. This is a small and medium pink round glitter with lots of holographic microglitter and is in a clear base. I should have probably layered it, but went for wearing it alone.

One last Death Valley Nails polish today—this is Snake Oil, a multichrome red/gold/green with holographic glitter. I got this one in my Pookie's Polish Swap but if you buy from their website, you get a removable handmade decorative bronze cap.

Today is China Glaze Don't Mesh With Me, from the Fall 2016 Rebel collection. This is listed as a lavender shimmer with a lavender grey base and blue and purple microshimmer.
