So, we went from 109 degrees to Hurricane Alex. We're talking 5 inches of rain in a day. What on earth. I hate this weather.
Thinking back, it's rained EVERY 4th of July that I can think of. I'm in South Texas! It's not supposed to rain! Blah.
I also broke a nail (after all my China Glaze Vintage Vixen swatches, so tomorrow it will look like my nails grew tons!) so I'm back to tiny nubbins again.
Very simple manicure here... Seche Natural for my base, 2 coats of China Glaze Ruby Pumps, some tiny rhinestones from eBay on my ring finger, and a top coat of Seche Vite. On my ring finger, I used Winning Nails "Tough Coat" which is supposed to specifically seal nail art. I feel like it makes the rhinestones look a tiny bit gummy.
Anywho, no real sun, but here's a few pictures. Happy 4th of July to all my American readers!
Tee hee, I kinda screwed up the rhinestones. Well, I tried. Kinda looks like a rocket!

Ugh! Your weather sounds like KS has been...minus the hurricane that is. It's supposed to rain here tomorrow, but I'm hoping it will hold off.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your mani. Ruby Pumps is super pretty. One of my favs. The rocket is really cute too. It reminds me of those rocket popsicles. :-)
HAPPY 4th!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of july! Your mani is very pretty. I'm painting my nails orange tomorrow, because of the WC football. We are crazy here in Holland, everything is collored orange, but it is so much fun :)
