I'm all about finding new ways to love my skin so when Ola Hawaiian Skin Care reached out, I jumped on board. The brand is an entire Tropical Apothecary with bath & body products, hair care, a wellness line and an "after sun" care line. The Hawaiian Skin Care line contains 5 products starting with a mask, cleanser, toner and then adding a serum to the moisturizer but today I just have the Mana Moisturizer to review.

It's been years since I've tried a Biorè strip - I remember the satisfaction of peeling the strip off and seeing all the unclogged pores. And by years I mean close to 20. I'm obsessed with my teeth. As a child of the 90s, I went through braces like most of my peers however, I didn't keep them on long enough and so now I have a couple of permanent retainers in my mouth. The other thing I'm obsessed with is whiter teeth. In my mid 20s, I had dental trays made specifically for whitening at my dentist office and I would buy the whitener from them every few months in an effort to whiten. I've also used many over the counter products like strips and toothpastes in the past. One thing I hadn't tried yet but have been interested in was activated charcoal so when Carbon Coco reached out, I was stoked.

I do miss not having an indie event like we have for the past several years which is where I got to meet Pam from Girly Bits the first time! Today I have a retired shade of hers from 2014 that I picked up called No Such Thing as a Purple Problem.

I used to be really into rainbow holographic glitter but it really needs a good base color underneath in order for it to work the way I want. Dip Into Pretty City Lights definitely has that gorgeous rainbow glitter but it's all in a clear base.

It's throw back time! This beautiful Tonic polish is called Windy City and it's from PolishCon Chicago 2016. I spent quite a bit of money on the first PolishCon especially when it came to the limited edition polishes that were put out. This one caught my eye at the last minute and I pulled the trigger.

This past February, I participated in a Nail Polish Exchange through redditgifts, and I was participant #318. This was my first time participating and I had a pretty awesome time! One of the gifts I got was this awesome indie from Fancy Gloss called Electric Violet. This is a purple based polish with turquoise shimmer.

Rabbit rabbit - Happy June! I cannot believe we're nearly on the back end of 2018 but here we are! I've been watching lots of Hoarders on TV and it's been motivating me to get my polish moving again. I was doing so good at the end of May and then realized I have to keep it going! Today I pulled out a Glisten & Glow polish called Doo-Wop & Drive-Ins.

BLUSH Lacquers Frosted Foliage

Another beauty that I got during PolishCon Chicago 2017 was from BLUSH Lacquers and is called Frosted Foliage. This was part of the Beauties Fall Collaboration Collection that was released in October 2017 and it was just so unique to me. This is a grey jelly base with a strong red/orange-gold-green shifting shimmer, a linear holo and red-orange-gold shifting flakes. You can see from the bottle above that it looks very orange originally!

KBShimmer High-rise To The Occasion

The KBShimmer Blogger Collections have definitely been fun to watch over the years, and this past Fall 2017, one especially caught my eye! Created with Michelle from Ehmkay Nails, High-rise To The Occasion starts with light grey crelly base has rainbow flakies and violet shimmer. The shimmer makes the polish almost looks lilac in low light which makes me super happy.
